Unclaimed Property Research
States hold billions in forgotten money: dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, insurance proceeds, deposits and refunds. Every state runs a free search where owners can claim directly.
What we help with
- ✓Dormant bank accounts and uncashed checks
- ✓Insurance proceeds and forgotten deposits
- ✓State-held unclaimed property
- ✓Business and corporate unclaimed funds
How it works
- 1. Review. We look for official public records that may relate to you and confirm what the holding agency or court actually has.
- 2. Explain. We tell you what we found, who holds the funds, what's needed to claim, and how to claim directly yourself if you prefer.
- 3. Agreement (optional). If you want our help, any fee is written down before work begins, follows your state's limits, and is payable only after you are paid.
- 4. Claim. We help assemble the official claim package. You review and sign your own claim.
- 5. Tracking. We follow the claim until the agency or court makes its decision.
Every state runs a free unclaimed-property search. You can search and claim yourself through your state's official program — find it at unclaimed.org. In California, start at claimit.ca.gov.
